Why we made these shirts
We started making these shirts because working with AI all day is a strange thing to have in common with so many people—and hardly anyone talks about what it actually feels like.
Some days it helps us make something we couldn’t have made before. Other days we spend longer checking its answer than it took to get one. Meanwhile, we’re working out what’s changing about our jobs, what we’re still good at, and why someone in every meeting suddenly seems to have become an expert.
That’s where the name Second Draft Studio comes from. Getting a first version is easier than ever. Knowing what’s worth keeping, what’s missing, and how to make something genuinely good still takes a person.
We make shirts about the funny, exciting, and occasionally unnerving moments along the way. Whether you’re making new things with AI or spending much of your day fixing what it got wrong, you’re part of this too.
